The Masjid Kristal of Kuala Terengganu is located along the shores of the Terengganu river and was completed in 2008. It is part of the Islamic Civilization Park and was declared opened by the then Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on 8 February 2008. It is considered small, able to take in a maximum congregation of 700 at any one time.
