Lockdown Malaysia – Pengkalan Kubor

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the whole world with Malaysia being no different from the rest. This image is the view from a checkpoint at Pengkalan Kubor of the Thai town of Bak Tai, separated by the Golok River. To enforce the lockdown and curtail unnecessary movement, barbed wire were used, to not only stop illegal entries from Bak Tai but to also act as a deterrent to smuggling activities.
