Semporna, located on the east coast of Sabah, is the launchpad to the world-famous diving spot Sipadan. As it turned out, by the time we reached Semporna, it was already dark and after checking in, proceeded to go out in search for dinner.
For us first-time visitors to Semporna, dinner would normally centre on the variety of seafood dishes Semporna has to offer, with the restaurant we ultimately patronised reputed to be one of the more popular ones (see image above).
As we sat and enjoyed dinner, the sounds of lapping waves and boats either whizzing or chugging past in the background, the feel of the cool sea breeze of the Celebes Sea made for a very memorable dinner.
